Users of Flir’s new Boson radiometric camera core now have the option of purchasing radiometric versions that can capture temperature data from every pixel in the scene. They come in two versions, with resolutions of 640×512 or 320×256 with different lens configurations and the ability to capture temperature data for quantitative assessment. The new cameras offer radiometric accuracy of ±5°C or ±5% for temperature measurement and have a spotmeter accuracy software feature that provides an assessment of how accurate a particular temperature measurement appears in the scene. In addition, the software feature provides the operator with the ability to account for dynamic ambient temperatures, as well as the ability to configure measurements prior to operation.
