Complete merger of operations and activities of TAG Optics Inc. into Mitutoyo Corporation

Mitutoyo Corporation and TAG Optics Inc. have reached an agreement to merge and integrate TAG Optics’ business activities into Mitutoyo Corporation. 

Since the acquisition of a majority stake in 2016, Mitutoyo Corporation has jointly worked with TAG Optics Inc. on the development and commercialization of the TAGLENS™ series, and has subsequently launched the TAGLENS™ series at the beginning of 2019.

The operations and activities of TAG Optics Inc. will be merged into Mitutoyo Corporation, and Mitutoyo will continue to further develop and release to market novel solutions for our customers.

Products formerly manufactured and sold by TAG Optics Inc. were discontinued in June 2019.
